What is your schedule?

  • Two 10 week-sessions are held each year
  • Spring session begins in February
  • Fall session begins in September
  • Classes are taught Monday through Thursday (9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
  • Lunch: Provided by women in community

How much does it cost?

There is no charge to a woman who is ready to make changes in her life

Who can attend CWJC?

  • A woman at least 18 years of age
  • A woman who desires to move from dependency to self-sufficiency
  • A woman who will accept responsibility as a student in the program
  • A woman who is alcohol and drug free

How does a woman sign up for the program?

  • Come to CWJC office
  • Fill out an application
  • Make appointment for interview

What makes CWJC different from other job-readiness programs?

  • 190 national sites
  • 72 Texas sites
  • 9 sites in East Texas – Lufkin, Henderson, Tyler, Jasper, Newton, Silsbee, Woodville, Nacogdoches; also a Christian Men’s Job Corps site in Silsbee
  • Nacogdoches CWJC began classes February 2005
